Our mission

SHRMG monitors and documents human-rights developments in Somaliland, with particular attention to freedom of expression, arbitrary arrest and detention, the administration of justice, and accountability for reported violations.

The work is meant to be independent, impartial and based on evidence, and to treat people affected by alleged violations with care.
