SHRMG
Privacy policy
This policy describes what this website actually does. It was written for the version of the site published on 8 November 2026.
The public site can be read without an account.
If you use a contact form, SHRMG stores the name, email address, organization and message you submit, so that an editor can reply. If you join the newsletter list, SHRMG stores your email address. Authorized editors can see these records. They are not sold, and they are not sent to an advertising network.
The forms are not a secure way to report a sensitive incident or to name a confidential source. Do not include information that would put someone at risk.
The site has no comment section. This release does not use a third-party analytics service. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change.
The server may keep a short-lived hash in order to limit repeated form submissions and sign-in attempts. It is used to slow abuse. It is not a visitor profile.
Editorial accounts are protected by a password and, when the user turns it on, a second sign-in code. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. The sign-in cookie cannot be read by page scripts.
You may ask SHRMG to delete a newsletter address or a contact message by writing to info@shrmg.org. Research that SHRMG has already published is kept as a public record, including any later correction.
